I do understand your disappointment. Customer support executive refused to remove the feedback on basis of positive comment as it was not clear that buyer wish to remove it. Do you have a confirmation mail from the buyer - through eBay messaging system- stating that he wish to remove the feedback he left? If so, kindly forward it to our Trust and Safety team, we will remove the feedback. Or your buyer can write a mail on inrswebhelp@ebay.com and request to remove the feedback he left. Alternatively, you can send feedback revision request to the buyer.
