WHY HAS EBAY CHANGED ITS FEEDBACK REMOVAL POLICY...

Hello

The change in ebay feedback removal policy is not called for.
It was excellent policy wherein reputed sellers used to genuinely help buyers to get the desired resolution and in turn request them for negative feedback removal.
Now there is no such options then why will the seller spend his time & effort, when he knows no good news is there in the end.
This will effect both buyers and sellers.
With the onslaught of new selling portals, ebay should help to retain its old and trustworthy sellers, not push them or take them for granted.
Also would like to highlight the ebay guarantee claim adjusters don't even call us for a resolution and give refunds to buyers who are not eligible, since the products are under warranty.
Once they are refunded the buyer leaves us a negative feedback, the Feedback removal team says they wont remove the feedback since its refunded from ebays end.
It seems like ebay is trapping its sellers, and pushing them out of ebay system.

I totally agree with you. Only after a full resolution of the problem faced, buyer used to leave a follow up comment for removal or send an email to ebay support.

 

*******   No buyer will leave such comments if he is not satisfied **********

 

But there where buyers who misused this policy as well and may be Ebay wants to see if this actually helps sellers.

so that buyer can use absuive languange in feedback. yea one buyer left like that and ebay say its ok

I propose to eBay to allow sellers also to leave feedback against buyers when there is a need. Now no seller can keave negative feedback against buyer. This emboldens few mischievous buyers to play havoc. Aliexpress allows sellers to leave negative feedback agaisnt buyers. eBay projects wrong profile of the buyer by allowing only positive feedback misguiding the sellers.

eBay shall prevent buyer's from leaving negative feedback hastily or premptively withour exahusting remedies from seller or eBay. eBay should allow buyers to slap negative feedback only when the buyer could not get refund or replacement from seller either directly or through eBay. Once the buyer gets replacement or refund, the buyer should not be allowed to slap negative feedback. eBaqy permits retention of the gadget and pays also refund ehnever the buyer demands return shipment by eBay for items costing less than Rs.500/= or so. This gives clear vista for mischievous buyers, even makes good buyers to play mischievous and abuse the process to grab the item free. Such buyers leave always negative feedback to substantiate their claim. So eBay should make arangements for reshipping back to seller instead of granting refund whenever the buyer says "no time" for shiping back. Another way is eBay can offer reimbursement of reshipping fees to buyer who reships on his own if proper receipt is furnished. I have come across many buyers play this game and grab products free.

from last 1 waek i face 10negative feedback from the fake buyerss who takes products and ebay coupon via ebay gurantee and then leaves negative feedback,then ebay said we cant remove feedback via  follow up comment or m to m communication.

There was my one buyer who was purchasing since 1 year and everytime he raise the claim once item received. He has given wrong number so claim adjuster cant call and he directly give him refund along with item under buyer policy. Later he made severeal other ids and started purchasing and raising claim..I investigated whole case and provided the proof to the ebay trust & safety with all his id detail and also that claim raised of not as described even item was in transit and not delivered...But claim T&S team says they have no valid proof so cant help. 

 

Now even we cant resolve the issue as we know we will nto get anything as feedback cant be removed..This is a loss for buyer & seller both....

This forum is just for sellers to chat or eBay is listening to us.
Negative feedback impacts the sales? Or buyer always buys from a seller with less price.

This policy is very Bad. Ebay change it or you will lose good sellers

many a number of time it has happened to us, there is no call to justify the why the buyer raised an issue, such things prompt buyers to purchase and threaten seller and misuse this policy

Ehay Hopeless Feedback Removal Policy is a worst and it will cost to ebay only.

 

I think one reason ebay changed its policy bcoz he want all seller to come under same remittance policy. Currently Top rated are getting remittance twice so Nathani Want to Take all under one roof at least for remittance.

 

If Feedback policy changed then no meaning of provide resolution to buyer as feedback will remain there always.
