Negative Feedback and claim, never contact us!

Before leaving a neagtive feedback, the buyer is supposed to contact the seller at least, according to eBay!

But, that never happens! If the buyers at least give a change to what sellers have to say before leaving a negative feedback, that would have been great.

 

One of my buyer recieved a product that was damaged during transit, the buyer started a claim and also left a negative feedback. Buyer's aren't give the sellers a chance to address the issue with products.

 

Isn't there any solution for this ? How long will sellers how to suffer from buyers negative feedback threat!?
