Can't track Registered Parcel on India Post Website.. Pls HELP!

Hi All,

Need help.

All these days I was using EMS Speed Post for shipping my orders and all was fine. But as it is expensive and as most of the customers ask for shipping discounts, I've decided to ship the orders as Registered Parcels. I sent a few items today and was provided tracking numbers in the following format: RNXXXXXXXXXIN. But when I enter these tracking numbers in the website, it says "No Details Found".

Has anyone used Registered Parcel Service before? Is it reliable? How much time does it take to deliver and can it be tracked?

Domestic Registered Posts can not be tracked online and I suggest you not to use this service if you're running business on eBay.

And if you really want to use Registered Post then always remember to put AD ( Acknowledgement of Delivery ) Form on the parcel or documents to that once the consignment is delivered, AD will get delivered to you.

Note : International Registered Posts can be tracked.

I suggest you to use either eBay PowerShip Program or you can Tie up with DTDC COurier Services.

Hi,

Use Express Parcel Post while shipping Domestic. If it is an International shipment, please do not use Reg. Parcel as it cannot be tracked and it usually very slow. For that matter, you should either use Reg. Airmail if it weighs less than 2kg or Speed Post beyond 2kg.

I have been ordering through registerd parcel several times and it was good. Tracking was also available. Recently I am not able to get tracking so I asked in post offfice, they said registered parcels dont offer tracking. May be recently they stopped the service.

I am sharing my experience with registerd post tracking . If I use the following URLs then it shows tracking details of my registerd post parcel

http://www.indiapost.gov.in/tracking.aspx

But if I use following URL which is also referred by ebay then I get message "Consignment details not Found"\

http://services.ptcmysore.gov.in/Speednettracking/Track.aspx?articlenumber=RM316880169IN

So try other URLs and I think ebay should also update it or post office must need to do someting to that URL. I don't know how to initiated request with ebay for that .

Actually ebay yet does not update the tracking system with india post and and secret thing is that india post does not give any comition to ebay thats why in ebay system india post tracking will not show
