Why shopping should multiply with quantity

I was trying to buy some credit card sized item from eBay. Item cost was 75 and shipping was 65.i wanted to buy 4 items. They are charging 75*4+65*4. Why they should charge 4times shipping charge if it's the same seller and same delivery address?
