I purchased new glucometer from EBay.in there is 10 free test strips. What was sent to me were counterfeit strips because all were giving erratic readings. I got my blood sugar as 39, 54 etc when it is usually 159-160.. Due to my 25 years of experience with my diabetes, I could make output that there is something wrong somewhere, otherwise there would have been fatal consequences.
Contrary to its declared policy, eBay refused to return and refund even though the product has lifetime warranty.
i am writing off my loss of 120o Rs (price of the glucometer) as bad investment abound resolved, never, ever to buy anything from eBay. As amount involved was insignificant, I have decided not to pursue the matter further.
through this mail, I am warning others also, notto believe eBay when they offer return and refund.
