I would like all of you to note that Many of Western Digital Portable(USB Powered) Hard Disks offer 2 years of Warranty.
Its found on ebay that most of the Sellers including Power Sellers didn't update the listings & the description still carries 3 years as warranty period. Even some claim 3 years warranty is written on Box Cover of Hard disks but upon contacting Western Digital support they informed me that warranty will be given as per their online portal.

So dear Buyers be aware, do some healthy search before investing hard earn money.If warranty duration is concern other options like Toshiba, Buffalo etc. are still open.
